Previous projects

AViCeMIS project is based on some previous projects developed by this research group:

  1. Masmicro. EU project (2004-2008):  the goal was to develop new micro-handling and microinspection systems.
  2. Smartfoods CIEN project (in collaboration with Biopolis S. L.) (2014-2017): the goal is to develop an automated C. elegans monitoring system.
  3. CONOCE  (RTI2018-094312-B-I00) (2019-2022) Advanced monitoring of Caenorhabditis elegans behaviours, based on active vision, for analysing cognitive function and aging.
  4. Healthspan+ (PDC2022-133099-I00) (2022-2025). Toward the full automation of healthspan assays using the C. elegans model on standard Petri dishes.
