Cell Cycle Arrest models

To investigate whether the exposure to a toxicant causes cell cycle arrest in the germline, the number of cores of mitotic cells is determined by staining with 4′,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole. The number of mitotic nuclei present at the distal end of the germline is counted under a fluorescence microscope.
