Meet miniTower, the next-generation robot that builds upon the Multiview patent. With its cutting-edge technology, miniTower enables full automation of C. elegans assays, including healthspan, lifespan, and chemotaxis studies, unlocking new possibilities for researchers in the field.

miniTower’s automated system takes care of loading and unloading Petri dishes, effortlessly integrating them with the capture system, releasing researchers from these manual tasks.

At the heart of this solution lies a software methodology (Fig. 2), leveraging the power of convolutional and recurrent neural networks to analyze image sequences (Fig. 3) and unlock valuable insights.

What’s next are new versions of miniTower (Fig. 4). We’re continually evolving.

The actual versión of MiniTower, perfectly functional in Avicemis Labs is shown in the following picture (Fig. 5), along with a little screen showing some experimental results.
